Achieving a slew of personal and seasonal best times, the MHC Rattlers Indoor Track team returned home on Saturday night after taking part in the ACAC 2 – the RDP Open in Red Deer.
As she’s done all year, third year runner Maddie Scrimger led the way for MHC with a resounding victory in the women’s 3000m. Scrimger recorded a personal best time of 11:07, 18 seconds better than second-place finisher Hannah Pilling of Lethbridge Polytechnic.
Spencer Wilson also managed a top 3 placing in the men’s 3000m for the Rattlers.
All four Rattlers men’s and women’s relay teams in both the 4x 200m and the 4 x 400m races finished in 5th place with seasonal best times.
In the team standings, the Rattlers women ranked fourth, while the MHC men were sixth.
